We are hiring Farmers Market staff!

Are you our next bread and pastry hawker? We're looking for high energy, people (and pastry!) loving front of house staff to work the stand at our beloved Farmers Markets. Our small bakery has built up a loyal following over the last few years. If you're not afraid of serving long lines, slinging the sourdough bread that's built up a cult following, and working with some of the best humans around, read on!

We are looking for a Thursday and/or Sunday market employee to pick up our van and product in Sausalito before the market (7:30am), drive to the market in San Rafael (Thursday) or San Francisco (Sunday), help set up our stand and display, sell pastries and breads during market hours, help break down our stall, and drive the van back to the bakery. You'll have the opportunity to trade with other market purveyors, to join a community of local and sustainable purveyors, and to represent a family-owned small business that prides itself on quality. 

Qualifications

We're a small business with a small crew. This job suits those who are used to an athletic pace, good with people, and who dig building relationships with local vendors. Reliability is a key. You should be able to work well other team members. You don't necessarily need to have experience with viennoiserie or bread, but experience in customer service is a huge plus. We'll train you on the rest!

Our base starting pay is $18/hour plus tips.
